City of Champions Award Recipient 2013-2014
Florie Massarotti was honored for his 55-year service with Boy Scout Troop 269. As a supporter of the Boy Scout Program, Mr. Massarotti has been both a scout and a scout master. Under his leadership, the local scout troop has achieved the distinction of being the longest continuously active troop in the Rocky Mountain Council.  An indicator of success is the fact that forty local scouts have reached the distinction of Eagle Scout. A remarkable achievement for any troop, and even more impressive considering the size of our community.
