YES! We heard you!

We listened to several of your opinions and creative ideas...and guess what?
We want to help you put them into action!

Therefore, TCF has created JrCOMM, a "leadership through community service" program that provides youth with a professional platform from which they will be encouraged and supported to partner with like-minded peers around the county to get together to figure stuff out. As a JrCOMM member you will have:

* Public speaking opportunities
* Attendance at city and commissioner meetings
* Parade float creation
* Logo / Web / T-shirt Design
* Guidance on budget preparation
* Field trips
... and more!

The thing is, we don't actually know everything that you will do because, as a youth -led committee, YOU will help decide what YOU are going to do! Us stuffy, ol' board members will just be guiding and mentoring you along to make sure no one gets hurt, gets in trouble with the law or spends too much money. Oh! Speaking of money, you will need to come up with some fundraising ideas of your own! Sure, we will make some phone calls and set a few things up, but you will be helping with that, too! And just so you know, this will be pretty awesome and intense once we get going so be sure you're ready to put in the time and energy. We are anxious to see what you have in mind to help better our community! So c'mon guys...let's do this!
** The next application cycle for JrCOMM will be in August 2020.

Call to sign up for their next volunteer activities - City of Champions Fundraiser (March 28th) and Santa Fe Trail Days (June 12th-13th). There are lots of ways to help. Stay tuned for when they may be visiting YOUR school to talk specifics on how you can get involved!
