On Saturday, April 19th, more than 100 volunteers joined TCF, LaGro Design and Development, the City of Trinidad and many local businesses to clean the Riverwalk trail and Purgatoire River corridor between Cimino Park and Linden Avenue. Truckloads of trash were removed, along with invasive species of trees and shrubs. The River corridor looked remarkably improved in just a few short hours.
Workers received a t-shirt, a fabulous lunch, and great music in appreciation for their efforts. In addition, numerous door prizes were awarded. Thanks go out to every volunteer and all participating sponsors:
